Woohoo! I am done with the setup of the blog on the new server. I am now hosted by Dreamhost. It’s rocking so far. Very fast! There are definitely benefits to hosting your site outside of your house. The geek in me really liked having a server but I am sure I was spending the $8 it costs for hosting; in electricity.

Next step – I had about 6-8 posts on my old setup. Now time to move them over. Posting dates will be screwy (all today) but I don’t really care at this point. Being that the old setup was slow and only about 90% reliable, I stopped posting a while back until I could find another solution.
