		<description>I wonder what could have caused the change in load time then. I was speaking completely from my own experience but your site loads VERY quickly. I think that the practice of not keeping garbage in your Wordpress is still a good idea however. 

I am leaning to think that the older versions of WP used to exhibit this problem but the newer versions do not. At that time when my article was written I believe I was running version 2.5.</description>

		<description>I had almost 75 inactive plugins, and after deleting them there was no difference in load time of the page at http://nabtron.com/ (tested 3 pages, homepage, blog page, one post with some comments on it)

please note, that 14 seconds was your page load time on your browser, not on server, and plugins etc can only affect the load time on the server, 

you load time may have decreased on the browser due to many other reasons! :s</description>
