I Really Hope That They Announce The Apple Tablet Today

It’s probably not why you think I would want them to… I am juts sick of hearing about it. I debated on actually posting this article because it just feels like I am pouring gas into the fire.

The tablet if real will be cool, I am sure I would like it. What is driving me crazy is all the hype over it. This scenario is quite similar to a great movie release when your friends spend 3 days telling that it’s the best movie ever – only to be disappointed when you actually see it. Expectations way to high and then ‘feh’, you can take it or leave it in the end.

Hype is good for Apple – they are doing a great job at generating it. Most of the rumours that surround this probably are leaked on purpose as part of their entire marketing plan.

I wonder if this is because I am bitter. I probably would have a hard time justifying the purchase of one of their tablets because it’s so niche anyhow. I admit it – I would love to own all Apple stuff, just don’t due to money.

All that said – I hope today is the day and we can start hearing reviews instead of speculation.
