We all have to live with our climate and we all have pluses and minuses where we live, but I think mine are worse in Montreal than someone’s in Las Vegas. They may disagree and in that case we both need the Honeywell TE923W Deluxe Weather Station. These are completely useless gadgets, the kind that rock when you get them for Christmas. I could lose a few hours setting up something like this and then I would be sure to look at it everyday.
The Honeywell is cool because it measures all of the common weather data and can connect to your PC:
Weather
• 12 to 24 hour weather forecast
• 24 hour barometric pressure history chart

sensors (sold separately)
